The Montreux end of Lac Leman...... how can I possibly describe the scene? My favorite image is from the back of the big steam ship: to the left are the bright green vineyards flowing down the hillsides to the lake, to the right the dark mountains towering steeply above the water, straight ahead snow topped peaks, far in the distance. In front of me the bright red and white Swiss flag waves off the back of the boat.
