A charming Italian town | A canal in the middle of town |
I spent two days in Trieste, getting adjusted to the time change and climate. It proved to be a delightfully enchanting Italian town with plenty to see and enjoy. Shopping abounds, great seafood is to be found everywhere, and the restaurants boasting characteristic, local fare has an interesting Austrian bent. Also you will want to visit the old Roman amphitheater and the two beautiful castles in town. |
