I fall in love with Indonesia the very moment I landed on its shores in 1988. And I have been coming back almost every year. This country has about 15,000 islands, with a population of more than 200 million, speaks 200+ different dialects and delicious local cuisines. Of all the countries that I have visited, Indonesia still remains as my No:1 choice.

This country is huge. Expect to spend at least six months to visit the main attractions. Flying is essential, since travelling by bus or train will take you longer time, and a lot of hassles especially at the smaller towns. The people are very friendly, and they always treat me as a King even though I have only ten bucks in my pocket. Since Bahasa Indonesia is quite similar to Malay - I have no language problem.
