I'm trying to remember all the things I did in Zim. It was a while back and every time I visited, I stayed with friends, so I don't know of any good accomodation apart from the Vic Falls Hotel. Where ever you stay, make sure there is a pool cos it's damn hot!!! A couple of things you simply cannot miss out on are, white water river rafting on the Zambezi. Bunji off Vic Falls bridge, A visit to the animal orphanage in Bulawayo, and be sure not to miss the Natural History Museum also in Bulawayo. An evening champagne cruise on the Zambezi is a lovely end to any day. (watch out for the Hippos though) Take advantage of the street markets, they have some great buys! More details on the above places and more below. If you are lucky, it is not unusual to see herds of elephants strolling through the bush near to the roads. I don't have any pictures of this amazing country on my pc, but go there and take some for yourself!
