Biala Podlaska is a town in Eastern Poland in Lublin Voivodship. It locates not far from Belarus border, about 25 km.
Population of the town is about 58 000.%c
Biala Podlaska is an old town. It was mentioned first in documents in 1481. At this time Biala belonged to Lithuanian Grand Duchy to Illnicz family. In 1569 Radziwill family became owners of the town. During Radziwill rule Biala had grown and developed fast. The castle, churches and academy were created.
Nowadays Biala Podlaska has developed into modern city with nice historical heart. %c
