Of castles and unpronouncable words! Wonderful place to relax and wind down. The perfect place for solitude in a beautiful setting. North Wales is full of castles, hills and seaside resorts that are not over-populated nor over-commercialised. Its the Welsh's best kept secret. From Conwy to Llandudno (pronounced Khlandudno!), Caernarfon and Bangor , you get to go up the Great Orme on an old-fashioned tram or ride a bus right out of the sixties! I would definitely go back with the kids as they'll have a wonderful time running around Caernarfon Castle or the old garrison, Conwy Castle. |
