Milan Travel Guide: 2,765 reviews and 6,830 photos
Being my first trip here, i did all my research on the net and found all the best places to shop! And we're not just talking Armani or Prada, anyhting that is made in Italy is worth buying. The people are wonderful too not to mention the food and drink. You could just walk into any restaurant or cafe and you'll walk out totally satisfied. Transport is cheap, you can travel anywhere on the Metro for just 1 euro per trip! And if you land and Linate airport, the bus ride into the city centre is only 30 minutes and costs just 1 Euro!! A few Italian words won't go amiss as the Italians are very charming with their 'Buon giorno' and 'buona sera's which I found to be very addictive. I do believe the Italians invented the art of civilised dining! All I can say about Italy is......I will be back!!!
Vittorio Emanuele 11, one of the many fashionable streets surrounding the Duomo. Around the corner are MonteNapoleone and Della Spiga, akin to Rodeo Drive or Bond Street.
- Pros:Despite the language barrier ( for some like me), the people are so accommodating
- Cons:Make sure your luggage has enough room for all your purchases

glad you had a good time in Milan! I loved living here. Did you visit the Navigli (canals in the south), and shop on Via Torino and Via Dante (towards the castle)?
