"Touristy... but fun if you are in that party mood" Jacó by shadowtill

Jaco was an interesting destination to say the least. I never used more English in a Spanish country before.. This may come as a pleasent bonus to some and as a pensive pause to others.. The town is a major stopping destination on the way down the coast towards Manuel Antonio. It's on a great surfing beach... light brown sand.. and is the Night Sopt of this part of the world. There is an extensive bar/club/restaurat scene.. some sections catering to specificly male clients. There is some shopping ... although much of it is westernized goods (T shirts, Sandles ... etc..etc..) There is plenty of fun to be had here... some nice restaurants and even some nice hotels. Just minuted outside Jaco are several beaches to the south that you can explore as well. They are much more remote and offer even better sunsets.

• Pros:Great Sushi, Good Party Town, Nice beach
• Cons:A little touristy
• In a nutshell:i don't know that I'd spend my entire vacation there.. but a visit would do just fine!!
