    • The Chateau Grimaldi was built in the 12th century and it was a residence of Monaco's ruling family. In 1946 Picasso used part of the castle as a studio. Five months of intense work produced 26 paintings and 43 drawings. The first Picasso museum in the world was born.

    • The Old Antibes beach which small, sandy, pleasant (but can be crowded), faces west into the sun. What is particularly nice about the beach is that it is sheltered from waves by a small breakwater and this enclosure makes it particularly safe for children.
