MEGEVE is an enchanting town, with a well preserved medieval centre featuring narrow cobbled streets, tastefully restored buildings and a picturesque church.

Summer Megeve propose many different activities and one of them, of course, to explore the area of famous Mont Blanc (White Mountain).

Actually Megève is a famous ski resort in the Alps, dating back to 1913. It started its development in the 1920s when Baroness Maurice de Rothschild opened its first major hotel in 1921, after becoming disenchanted with St Moritz (Switzerland) as a skiing resort. By the 1950s Megève was one of the most popular ski resorts in Europe, and attracted many celebrities.

Those gratin potatoes are in my mind for dinner tonight. The area looks so wonderful and the Alpine theme prevails. You did a great job of presenting this.

J'ai été une ou deux fois à Mégève, quand j'étais plus petit. Je vais revenir à cette page quand tu auras écrit quelques textes.
