Whatever your interest is in cycling, leisure, competitive or just a love of it, Majorca can provide rides to suit all levels and ages. From the mainly flatlands of the south east, to the mountainous and spectacular north west. The choice is yours to make it as easy or gruelling as you wish. Such is the variety of routes on offer that many of the professionals come to Majorca in the Feb / March, training for the coming season. The bay of Alcudia and Pollenca provide great bases for those wishing more ardous cycling, while Calla Millor and Porto Cristo may suit the more leisurly. Majorca tends to be a "cycle friendly" place, with many roads having cycle lanes or lined edges, and the motorists are more patient with cyclists.Should you choose to stay in the south of the island, be aware you have some busy roads to contend with before you reach the quieter and more scenic parts
- Pros:Best Cycling outside of the Pyrennes and Alps
- Cons:"South Side" apart form Palma
- In a nutshell:Something here for everyone
