Wadi Rum is a beautiful desert landscape at the South of Jordan - sandy desert between the rock massives, or, if you want, rock masives in the middle of the desert. Sands are multicolored - yellow in the morning, then red, and I do not know of what color in the evening. They say the sunnset is the most beautiful time in Wadi Rum, but I did not check.
