Butcher on "the Board"

Visiting Greenland is a great experience. In the capital Nuuk there´s several interesting activities. The most spectular perhabs is "the Board" in danish "Brædtet" from where the sealers and whalers catch is for sale.

Beautiful houses

Nuuk is a small capitol with around 12.000 inhabitants most local people but of course also many danes.
The best restaurant is Hotel Godthaab with a very delicious menuecard. I really recommend this place. Dont miss to try a steak of musk.

Whales Safari

Don´t miss a boattrip on the fjord. Have a look at the many whales and enjoy the magnificent nature. You have to make an agreement with a local boatowner. There´s no touristtours as far as I remember.

Pros and Cons

Pros:magnificent nature, kind people, picturesque houses, whales, musk, etc.
Cons:no palms and no swimming in the sea.
In a nutshell:Nuuk´s not Nice but anyway very nice
