Philadelphia Freedom

County Courthouse, deep in the heart of downtown
Philadelphia today is quite similar in many aspects to Boston, New York and Washington DC in that its historical relics are still well preserved and sit and function within the growing modern city. Like the other cities, Philly has innumerable cultural and historical outlets, shopping, and other amusements, and all the congestion problems that come with it. Still, for cultural aficionados and history buffs, Philadelphia is an essential destination.

Pros:"All the history, cultural attractions and architecture one could wish"
Cons:"Congestion, ringed with slum neighborhoods, impossible parking problems"
In A Nutshell:"An Essential Slice of Americana"

I'm the first to comment on your Philly page? A sign of the times I guess. Nonetheless, a good overview of this interesting city that makes me realize it has been several years since I've been to a historic U.S. site.
