"Rural Community in Paradise" Seeley Lake by mrclay2000

Seeley Lake Travel Guide: 0 reviews and 1 photos

Great for recreation and camping

Seeley Lake is the center of several area campgrounds within the Lolo National Forest. Prices are reasonable and registration is on the honor system.

The lake setting is beautifully ringed by evergreen pines and the surrounding mountain range. Boating and swimming are allowed in the lake, where you might happen to see an occasional otter.

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:A great launching pad for Glacier National Park
  • Cons:Rural, slightly away from conveniences
  • In a nutshell:A perfect recreational oasis in the mountains!
