I found myself wandering around Portsmouth more than once. It's a nice place to get away to for the weekend and only a couple hours drive from North Conway. Right on the highway. It's quite an eclectic town and near the waterfront they have many cafes, pubs, neat shops, and park benches. I sampled a couple of good restaurants, but mostly I just liked walking around and window shopping. It has a European feel to it which was maybe the reason that I liked it. |
