Lindau is probably my favorite place in Germany. Unfortunately, not too many people know about it. Of course, this could be a good thing since it’s still pretty much a secret to Americans. The island part of the town is my favorite aspect of it. There are tons of shops, cafes, and bakeries. One of my favorite memories is when my roommate in Bregenz, Emily, and I would take the train over to Lindau for ice cream in the evenings. We would order these huge dishes and eat them by the lake, watching the lighthouse as the sun set. It is a very magical place. |
