I decided to visit the small university town of Olomouc for one reason-I had never been there before. Didn't know anything about it, had no clue as to what to see, and wasn't even sure how to pronounce it. But I was on a mission to see as many Czech towns as I could and the hostel in Olomouc kept turning up in forms of a brochure at nearly every destination. I went with little to no expectations and as it turns out, I was pleasantly surprised. It's a nice little place with a happening pub and bar scene, with some very nice parks and squares. I recommend adding it to your tour of Czech. |
