Everything you've heard about Dubrovnik is true. It truly is an amazing place. It's almost completely recovered from the war and you have to look really hard to even see any traces that it was even ever there to begin with. The architecture is gorgeous, the water perfectly blue, and there is a general laid back atmosphere that makes it a good place to relax. It's still inexpensive by Western European standards and if you plan it right you can stay in very nice accommodations and have excellent meals for very little money. |

polvolula Sun Oct 4, 2009 07:23 UTC I had pasta with salmon sauce in Spaghetteria Tony in July 2006 and still remember how great, unpretentious and inexpensive it was. I hope it is still as good as it was! | trek06 Tue Nov 15, 2005 00:21 UTC Enjoyed your Coatia pics, also enjoyed "10 Things To Know Before You Head Off To The Balkans" | mtncorg Fri Jan 7, 2005 21:21 UTC Can't wait to see the updated LP Croatia guide ;-] A nice time to see Dubrovnik though.
