You either like it or you don't. It's a small pub with a jukebox and a pool table and mostly locals hang out in it. It's a little rough around the edges but it's quiet and you can actually have a conversation in it. Although it's tatty and it lacks the glamour of the Union or other young hang-outs I kind of like being the only uni people in it. If you want to get to know the locals, this is one of the best places to be. The drinks are very reasonable as well and after going in there once you get to know people. Just remember, they seem to do karaoke on Friday nights and it can get pretty ugly...
