Daytrips

There are some fabulous daytrips to be taken away from Cork. I reccommend the following:

Cobh- A harbor town. A heritage center displays information on immigrants, famine, and also shows the imprtance of Cobh being the last ddock for the Titanic. http://www.cobhheritage.com/

Kinsale- Visit the Charles Fort in this seaside town.

Ring of Kerry- While I would say to actually spend the night somewhere enroute, it is possible to do a guided tour of the Ring of Kerry from Cork.

Blarney Castle- Kiss the stone! (But the castle and gardens are cool, too.)
