Long Beach is a very nice city. It is developed and has a thriving downtown area. It is a city of more than a million people. Long Beach harbor is one of the busiest harbors in the world. The city is a nice place to visit and a nice place to live.

My parents both graduated from the Cal State Long Beach. My mom in 1990 and my dad in 1991.

One of my favorite rappers, Snoop Dogg, is from the east side of Long Beach.

As all big cities, there is a dangerous part of town. My mom can tell some stories that would scare some people about riding the bus through some of the bad parts of town.

The Queen Mary and the Aquarium of the Pacific are the usual tourist stops here.

• Cons:poorer part of the city is virtually unknown to outsiders
