There are two main roads that run parallel to each other : the Beach, and the Middle road. The beach road is the one that is next to the shore line.
Saipan was occupied by the Japanese during the WW2 and was liberated by American GI. Travelling around the island, one can see the structures, evidences left over form the WW2 such as : rustic tanks, air raid shelter, guns, old barracks.
The main town in Saipan is Garapan where all the activities center around.
Majorities of tourist are Japanese since Saipan only few hours flight from Japan.<br><hr size="1" width="100%" Align="center" color="red" Noshade>

<br><br>There are lots of things to do on the island. From hiking to playing golf., etc..
One can hop on a boat ride to the neighbor island such as Rota, Tinian.
The main currency is US dollar. The life style there is very laid back. I guess one can say "Life is a beach" overthere.

Managaha island
