As scenic as any National Park Big Bend National Park is not the easiest of destinations. No convenient airports or highways for that matter. It takes some planning to get there. But it is worth the effort. The desert and mountains are otherworldly. It is a peaceful and desolate place. Great for birdwatching, hiking and if you are lucky you might see some bigger mammals (we saw four coyotes and a troop of javelinas.) |
