"Always Blue Skies in Oklahoma City" Oklahoma City by zrim

Oklahoma City Travel Guide: 398 reviews and 776 photos

I checked the weather forecast several days prior to departure and was promised lots of sun and warm temperatures. A great way to start a 4000 mile roadtrip. Alas, as the week wore on the forecast became gloomier and gloomier. Highs in the 50s and mostly cloudy. But the reality of my Wednsday afternoon in Oklahoma City was beyond even the direst predictions. Cold, blustery with the most dreadful gray skies imaginable. A photographers nightmare.

On the bright side, I was given a tour of OKC by a most knowledgeable and gracious host....the one and only Mrclay2000. If you want to learn something about the architecture and history of Oklahoma City, I suggest you visit his homage to his hometown. Great stuff on those pages.

Ah yes, the soup photo. I will dig that out. And the milk bottle across the way.

It's a start. . .but it's on a pace with my Philly page. . .didn't you photograph the soup dish? That would be a plus for VT-OKC.
