They drain most of the Lakes in the Czech Republic to 'harvest' the Carp. They do this on a rotation system and it is quite spectacular to watch. The harvesting is done around October, Carp is the Czech National Dish for Christmas.

Good to see you made it to Telc, Phil but a shame they had the pond empty at the time. I got back there last summer as well. One note though, the beer is 12 degree, not 12 percent. It's actually pretty much the same strength as beer in the US.
