I'm a big fan of Saskatchewan. On first glance, it appears to be a huge wasteland. Mile after mile of flat terrain. But I find the place fascinating. There aren't any surprises around the next bend in the road--because the road never bends. But that doesn't mean there aren't hidden gems in vast tracts of endless prairie. |

I never knew about these Salt Lakes....I guess when I passed through Saskatchewan back in the 80's I didn't stop to smell the roses! I love the grain elevators! They are the skyline of the Prairie!! | dr.firas Mon Jun 14, 2004 06:51 UTC
