| village path to Basillica |
This is to be a short page on Aquileia I'm afraid. We spent a pleasant hour or so exploring the brilliant mosaics and frescoes in the basilica. However, the weather outside was dreadful and we did not much feel like exploring the village huddled under our rain jackets. Therefore, the photos are few. Yet the village is charming and the basilica is a must see sight on any northeast Italy itinerary. |

Keep up the good (if brief) work. | craic Wed Nov 19, 2003 12:32 UTC The weather just seems to follow you round. (Would you come to Australia, please?) |
