Venice is a pretty cool city with the absense of autos and the gondoliers and such. But Verona is the real deal in northern Italy. I would happily spend weeks, if not months or even years in this place. Check out my tips and I'll show you what I mean. |

I am usually very suprised when mine come back, but not for the right reasons.........love the page Phil [ and the pics ] | iandsmith Sun Jan 4, 2004 04:47 UTC Having spent most of my time in Verona in the car park, a result of some dodgy food at Cinque Terre, I'm entitled to view Verona in poor light (just like that inside the toilet!) but I loved what I saw and am returning, egged on by your enthusiastic page. | deecat Sun Dec 14, 2003 02:02 UTC I,too, loved Verona. You've done a great job giving the texture and "color" of the city. The people there were so kind to us. It was the 1st city we visited in Italy and we ate at one of the best, small osterias there. |
