Textiles, Pottery and ancient Bambara capital

by zrim - last update: Dec 11, 2005

ancient mosque in Segou Koro
Segou is a medium sized town on the Niger River. It is an excellant spot to but textiles, pottery and other Malian art. It also lies in close proximity to the ancient village of Segou Koro which once was the capital of the Bambara Kingdom.

This ancient mosque in Segou Koro looks much more exotic than your hotel and let it be!

How fun, to be sick as a dog in Segou! I've been sick as a dog in lots of places, but not there - yet.
