If you have read my introductory page, you already know that one of my great joys in life is to sit in a beergarden at a castle or monestary after having toured the grounds. This place was the first of what I hope is many such interludes.

Glad you enjoyed your visit here in 2000. Würzburg is a town I often go through on the train (once also once saw a fine opera premiere there, Massenet's Werther), but I haven't really stopped to look around for a long time. Hope to remedy that next week. | kenyneo Mon Apr 5, 2004 17:24 UTC
