Flamingo Beach :-): Shopping from the sun chair is easy!!! Vendors Review

On the beach there are a number of liscenced vendors that have a pass from the Government. It is simple if you want to relax ignore them by putting on your glasses or a quick no gracias and you are find.

If you like what they have, ask "how many pesos?" :-)

What to buy: Oakley sunglasses, hammocks, sculptures, t-shirts, dolls.

What to pay: My rule was half of what they were asking or even less if possible and it seemed to work although I know I over payed lots of times!!

I tried to get extra value from what I bought by sitting the guys down and picking their brain. They have a lot of local knowledge and I would milk them for all they had. I thought it was a great source of information and chatting, they were all super people!

Directions: This was on the Flamingo Beach in Peurto Vallarta!

Art/Silver: Local Artist / Painting Art/Silver Review

I remember we bought 4 paintings of this local artist. As you can see from the picture he was painting on these tiles using only paint and his finger nail!!!

They were amazing landscape pictures of the local area and they worked out to be only $20 Canadian.

It was a steal and they look great to this day. They were even framed.

Vallarta Flea Market Area: Great Value! Markets Review

This is a collection of many local stores and craft persons, there is a great selection and plenty to buy, great opportunities for souviners but remember I guess you have to bring it back, I got a Hammock that was a challenge for sure!

What to buy: Hammocks are good quality, Iron Wood Scuptures, Pottery, Jewellry, Wraps, SunGlasses.

What to pay: Half they ask or less, hehehe, that was my rule that worked most of time :-)

Directions: Walk through downtown and over the bridge and you will find it.
