Montreal, Quebec!

Me in Old Town Montreal

Quick Synopsis

Welcome to my Montreal page. I have been to Montreal a couple of times now. Once as part of my honeymoon and several times as stop over trips to other destinations.

It is one of my favorite cities, it is lively, the people are very european in nature and I have enjoyed ever visit so far immensely!

The name of the city of Montreal derives from mont Réal, an orthographic variant introduced either in French, or by an Italian map maker ("Mount Royal" is monte Reale in Italian). The name had been unofficially applied to the city, formerly Ville-Marie, by the 18th century.

Mount Royal (French: mont Royal) is a mountain on the Island of Montreal, immediately north of downtown Montréal, Québec, Canada, the city to which it gave its name.

Thoughts on Montreal

Without a doubt one of Canada's best cities and one of my own favorites.

You'll enjoy the old port area, Montreal is considered one of Canada's most european cities. The shopping is great here.

Probably another reason I like Montreal so much is the fact I am an avid Montreal Canadiens (Habs) fan. Canada's best hockey team winning more Stanley Cups than anyone else in the world. The numbers don't lie!!

The downtown of Montreal is also very entertaining and you'll notice the overall atmosphere is simply different here in Montreal!

Pros:"The atmosphere, history and the Habs!"
Cons:"None really but knowing french would be cool!"
In A Nutshell:"A great atmosphere in the air!"

THE house of Pierre Trudeau is the one next to it (left side in the right theres a park). You have PART of the house in that picture...lol its funny we all make the same mistake. I know one of his son, Sasha Trudeau lives there now. Hope this will help.

Hi. I'm told the home you meant to get is the one on the left of your pic. Although everyone seems to think this is it.
