Innu Tent

Traditional Innu Tent

Here is a picture of a traditional Innu Tent. If you go to the neighbouring Innu community of Sheshatshiu you will probably see one of these tents in use.

It is also not uncommon to see these tents along the road side of the Trans-Labrador Highway as many Innu people still use them today to live practise their traditional ways of life in areas that were one time inhabited by them toward the interior of Labrador.
