Well this turned out to be a surprise but in Wiarton they celebrate Groundhog day in a big way and the community is home to Wiarton Willie the Groundhog!
I'll tell you more but there is a web site.
I was trying to get a peak at the little guy on my trip but he didn't come out. I only found his large statue down at the waterfront!
