Transportation: World's Largest - The Path

Getting TO/AROUND: When I first learnt about the PATH it was in February when it was cold. The path is an underground world where the temperature is controled.

According to Guinness World Records, PATH is the largest underground shopping complex with 27 km (16 miles) of shopping arcades. It has 371,600 sq. metres (4 million sq. ft) of retail space. In fact, the retail space connected to PATH rivals the West Edmonton Mall in size.

So from that fact you can get the picture. I've provided a link to the web site where you can download the extensive map of the PATH and its certainly worth exploring if you are going Shopping. I wasn't sure were to put this tip. Shopping vs. Transportation?

I also posted a picture of the logo. If you see this downtown at street level you know you can quickly scoot down below. I think this is an important tip on Toronto and I trust you will shop till you drop!!!!!!!!

    Transportation: Canada's Busiest Airport
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]

    Category: Airplane
Getting TO/AROUND: In 2002 there were 25.9 million passengers making it the 29th largest airport in the world. I thought Toronto Pearson Airport would be complicated and just a large airport to navigate but it was actually a comfortable place and easy to navigate.

Passengers travelling through Toronto Pearson will quickly discover that the airport is more than just terminals and runways. The GTAA has transformed shopping and dining at Toronto Pearson to ensure that all restaurants and retail shops feature goods that sell at street prices and also reflect the local flavour of Toronto.

I ate at one place called the Red Rockets and experienced a language barrier oddly enough and below average food but that was just my luck I guess. I should of order the Kabobs that looked like their specialty but instead I was looking for breakfast.

Yes the CN tower is the Tallest Tower in the world...but you did say at one point it is the tallest building...they are two different categories. Anyway...great pics and all. I've been having a great time checking out your VT pages!

Thanks for stopping by my page. If you want to know what is going on in Toronto check out Toronto.com for a start. There's always some sports going on, multitudes of pubs/bars/theatre. Are you in TO on business/pleasure?

I have been to Toronto a few times and I have not made it to PATH shopping. Thanks for the tip.

Nice job. Great commentary on wind energy and your restaurant tips almost make me want to fly up there just for the vittles.
