Eton College

This may seem like an odd activity but we ventured down by Eton College the school of Prince Harry. Now even though they call it a public school in North American we mean it is a private school at 13,000 british pounds a semester. I got a lot out of just watching the school kids dressed up in tuxedo style uniforms. It is certainly an eye opener into the world of the upper British class!!

Windsor Castle

I have to say I really enjoyed touring the Windor Castle one of the Queen's official residences. On the day of my visit she was actually in but we didn't get to meet her obviously!!

It is a must see. You can tell if the Queen is in by the flag that is flying. That's my tip :-)

Changing of the Guard Buckingham Palace. Review

I've been in London, now a couple of times but it was back in 1993 when I got to witness the changing of the guard and saw the Buckingham Palace. It was beautiful and watching the changing of the gaurd was a glimpse into oldtime british history and royalty.

I scanned this picture. I tried to see this event again in February 2003 but downtown London was swamped with millions of people protesting the war in Iraq so we were forced stay out of the downtown area!
