This is not a tip about a specific place but in general in Madrid you would see displays like the one in this picture in the windows. I think this is capable of turning you away from Ham but I can tell you the curred Ham I tried in Madrid and other parts of Spain was great so don't be turned away from the pigs hanging in the windows :-)

I DID stay there. In fact, the main reason I stayed there was the location (secondary reason...price). It was a nice, inexpensive, clean and basic hostal. The people there were nice, and the café on the ground floor was great. | bijo69 Wed Apr 27, 2005 02:00 UTC
