| | Quick Synopsis I got to Tetouan as a chaperon for a small group of high school students who where on an EF Tour. The tour started in Madrid, Spain continued through Andalucia and we done a day trip over to Tetouan.
Here is this picture is my first encounter with a Dromadary! These close ups are hilarious I think. You can tell it is a dromadary versus a camel by the number of humps on the back.
If you are familiar with Camel Cigarettes for example. The logo on the pack is actually a Dromadary!
The Dromadary has just one hump versus two on a camel.
I hope you enjoy the rest of my photos from Morocco! |
| | Thoughts on Tetouan! I spent a day in Tetouan and it was an eye opener to say the least. The arabic language barrier would have been insurmountable for me if I had been alone. I am told since that arabic is very hard to learn.
The streets where very narrow and lots of trade happening in the streets. The muslim characteristics were also a first for me making it much different.
The native dress was also very unique and you just felt like you stuck out like a sore thumb! If you were going to blend in here it would take some effort. My Madrid PageMy Toledo PageMy Sevilla PageMy Cordoba PageMy Granada PageMy Andalucia PageMy Ceuta PageMy Fuengirola Page |
