The Castle dominates the skyline of Edinburgh. It has a engaging history and is still at present time a rich architectural mixture of palace, fortress, barracks, chapel and war memorial. It is home of the Crown Jewels (ones lost but found again by Walter Scott) and the Stone of Destiny (a relic). |
