Nearby the Betwa River, Orchha (Hidden Palace) is just a village, set amoung a wonderful complex of palaces and temples. Some people stay here for some hours, i stayed 2 days...
The palace was build when Jehangir visited the town in 1606. It was during Orchha's golden age...
Some people say it needs some cleening and restauration, but the palace is still like it was several hundred years ago, and that's impressive to see.
Infra-red photo (it is dark inside) of a well preserved wall. All the rooms were decorated with beautiful designs...
- In a nutshell:Not well known, but very interesting place to visit
