Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Light cotton clothings, sandals and shorts for summer. Thick jacket, jeans, wool socks, scarf for winter.
Toiletries & Medical Supplies: Basic First aid kit. Good old Lanolin moisturieser cream.My mom swears she never leaves behind it.
Photo Equipment: Digi cam Or camera.Films are expensive to me. 3 rolls of kodak 400 cost AUST$13-16.
Miscellaneous: It's only the in the middle of Spring (Oct) as i'm writing this to inform all of you the importance of Sun protection.I was wearing my shorts and driving in car from a shopping mall to home in less than 10mins.My thigh just got red instantly when i got home.Thank goodness I didn't get a bad burnt (usually I'll get tanned without burnt).Imagine with a high UV index of 10 and just a temperature of 23 degree celsius.Plus, Australians are among one of the highest rateof people developing skin melanomas. In fact, I've already known 2 from my class.If one suspects of any unusual skin growth which bleeds easily and skin colour changes should seek for medical advice for early detection.

Surely this cannot be serious. It says we cannot bring worn shoes in to Australia at Perth. What is a visitor to do? There was no suggestion of this on my previous trips to Australia, but I entered at Melbourne and Sydney? Again, is this serious? | TheWanderingCamel Mon Aug 29, 2005 13:46 UTC
