Getting TO/AROUND: Seriously,if you're thinking of travelling around in Perth, the best option is to rent a car.UNLESS, u;re hanging around in the city, then one can catch the RED or BLUE CAT free bus service to various places close to city itself. The stop are pretty obvious around the city zone.Presonally, i think the bus and train service is ...well, put it in a nicer way is a little slow.Catching a bus needs to check out the timetable schedule. One can obtain such information at Perth City Train Station. And yes, there are scheduled times for trains too. Especially on a sun, you have to wait longer than usual for a bus or train to arrive. Therefore, it is really important to grab hold of the timetable phamplet of the various bus numbers.Trains leaves every half an hour from Perth City on sun then. hope i;m not confusing anyone else! Car rental is not that expensive and usually preferably it has cheaper rate if you';re 25 yr old and above. And the rate goes by week and the model of the car too. Oh, if you're getting off the bus, remember to say thanks to the bus driver..out of courtesy .

Getting TO/AROUND: This is a Free City CAT (central area transit)service that runs around the main roads in Perth City. If you want to hop a cat service and get around, the nearest stop would be the one in the city opposite perth train station (next to Perth tourist centre). CATS come in various colour: RED , BLUE, YELLOW, Orange (fremantle). So do check out the board at the stops for location drop offs.

youssef09 Mon Sep 24, 2007 11:50 UTC very nice pages, greetings from so so far algiers !! | Aidy_p Sun May 20, 2007 17:31 UTC Lovely pic you have there. :) | donard Tue Dec 20, 2005 07:32 UTC Surely this cannot be serious. It says we cannot bring worn shoes in to Australia at Perth. What is a visitor to do? There was no suggestion of this on my previous trips to Australia, but I entered at Melbourne and Sydney? Again, is this serious? | TheWanderingCamel Mon Aug 29, 2005 13:46 UTC We'll have to get a Mah Jong game going next time you're in Perth. -leyle |
