This is the town where I grew up. Where I was molded, where I had spent most of my life, made a lot of my lifelong friends and finally where I chose to leave after high school for a lot of reasons, most of them related to my career choice. I still go back and I still consider it my home, even though I haven't lived there in 17 years, and even though I wasn't born there.
I hold very fond memories of my time there and cherish the time when I return. I think that I have a better appreciation of the beauty of Munising now that I don't live there.

I've lived in the U.P. for a dozen years and I still haven't taken the Pictured Rocks Cruise! Isn't that typical - neglecting the sights in your own backyard? Munising is a great backyard to have!
