As in most of southern Europe, they have almost total disregard for traffic laws and right of ways....pay attention or be road kill if walking, or crunching them if driving (hmmmm....)

Don't wait at the taxi stand for a taxi, as you may grow old...Due to the fact that the tourist season is short here...there aren't many taxis...to be sure, bring your cellular phone and give one a call...the number is at the taxi stand...
