A Day Trip Away I decided to take advantage of a new friend's offer to show me around Strasbourg. We met on my previous flight back to Detroit. I took a train from Schwäbisch Gmünd, Germany to Offenburg where S picked me up. From there it was across the border to Strasbourg. |

Getting to Know You Spent the day wandering all around Strasbourg looking at Churches and government buildings and getting to know each other better. Had a wonderful walk around the garden next to the EU HQ. |

The Surrounding Area After spending the day in Strasbourg, we drove back across to Offenburg and drove up to an old Monestary that is now a youth hostel for some stunning views. We then went down for dinner and it was suddenly time for me to catch a train back to SG. |
