Creamer's Field Trails

Fairbanks differ from Anchorage, great outdoor posiibilities are not in your backyard. But you'll find nice places to hike, when you search little bit. Creamer's Field is a recreation are at College Road. Most people know this place, because it is famous at Fall time when hundreds of birds rest there at field. There are nice trails and in winter time skijoring is a very popular hobby there. You know, you have cross country skiis and your dog pulls you. It looks so fun.

Equipment: You can hike there in winter time with regular shoes, but snowshoes might be a good choice too.

University has a great indoor center

Recreation Center of UAF is good place to train any kind of sport from climbing to aerobics and yoga. This great complex is pretty cheap 75$ / semester for students, i don't know how much is one time there. If you visit in Fairbanks, check Recreation out.
At Patty Center you can swim or play ice hockey.
