Troms

It is quite easy to drive from Finland to Norway. Me and my friends decided to take a short trip to coast of North Norway. It was Eastern and Troms was very shy, no people and many hotels and guesthouses vere closed. So we slept in the car, but don't tell anybody, because its not allowed to do in Scandinavia.

Four days to feel Scandinavia

Our way

So, we had four days to drive from Helsinki to Troms and stay there and then drive back. It sounded impossible, but we believe ourselves. My parents were scared, 'cause weather can be very bad there i that time. And it was quite amazing, April everywhere but in Helsinki was sunny and not snow att all and then there in North was snowstorms and it was like in December. Reindeers ran around and it snowed so much. Sometimes you couldn't even see the way.

Sommarö

Sommerö, our goal

Our goal was Sommarö, little island nearby Troms. We called it corner of Ice sea, and it was beautiful place. But I can't imagine me living there.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Once again, views are fantastic
Cons:Norway is very expensive, specially the gas

It's winding there in North Norway. Air is very fresh, but I prefer good adventure clothes and specially in the spring... more travel advice

Not aloud to sleep in the car? Are you sure? Maybe in gas station or parking slot but on the rest stations on the roadside, we have to check that out.
