Qatar is one of those sleepy Arabian countries that is on the cusp of tradition and modernity. It is great to see some of its heritage still exists and it is also surprising to see how quickly it has sprung up as a major destination in the Gulf Region.

I have mostly spent time in Doha but I have had the occasional opportunity to travel outside of the city limits to some various other cities. It is fun and easy to get around. Please check back for further updates as I will be trying to build this site in conjunction with the information included in my Doha page.
