Nightlife Spot: Agharta Jazz Centrum
The atmosphere here was exactly what I thought it would be for this sort of venue. There is a small bar at the back and the interior is simple and focused on the stage. The club also has a small music store attached to it where you can purchase mostly jazz cd's. The fee for entrance is only 100KCZ.

Nightlife Spot: Malostranska Beseda Music Club
The venue is different every night and the price of admission is usually free unless you check your coat for 5KCZ. The time I went was a music expo of a local musical college and it was fantastic. It was all low key and the musicians were excellent. There is a small bar where you can order drinks that are very reasonably priced.

Nightlife Spot: Cafe Svateho Vaclava
If you are spending time on the Wenceslas Square the Cafe Strahevo is a good place to get some eats. It is also a great place to see some live music. The local talent in Prague is really great and I was lucky to see so many great musicians. The band plays their own version of Dixie music and it is quite fun to hear some original versions of old classics. They are also pretty animated guys too.
